About Me

I am a MSc Student Graduate in Computer Vision at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), UAE. Currently, I am affiliated with SPriNT-AI lab under Dr. Karthik Nandakumar as a Research Assistant.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University(KSU) in 2020, and my Master’s degree in Computer Vision at MBZUAI in 2023. My current research interests lie in Video Anomaly Detection (VAD) with applications in Renewable Energy.

• [Feb. 2024] Our paper titled “Collaborative Learning of Anomalies with Privacy (CLAP) for Unsupervised Video Anomaly Detection: A New Baseline” has been accepted for publication at CVPR 2024.
• [Oct. 2023] “A Coarse-to-Fine Pseudo-Labeling (C2FPL) Framework for Unsupervised Video Anomaly Detection” accepted in WACV, 2024.
• [April. 2023] Graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Vision at MBZUAI.
• [Jan. 2023] Our paper on Digital Twins is published to IEEE Access.
• [Aug. 2021] Started my masters degree in computer vision at MBZUAI.
• [Oct. 2020] Our paper on solar irradiance forecasting is accepted to MDPI journal.
• [May. 2020] Graduated from King Saud University (KSU) where I ranked 1st among students in my major.
